To represent SAIGON PRINCE HOTEL in all aspects of sales. To promote sales and increase awareness of the property to the International and domestic trade clients and corporate agencies.
To meet and exceed budgeted levels of sales from key market segments. This will be achieved through strategic implementation of effective sales activities as outlined in the Business Plan and Sales Plan in accordance with the policies of the Hotel.
To drive and motivate the sales and marketing team to exceed both internal and external stake holders expectations, and continually strive to improve all results and targets.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Actively pursue and maintain a close relationship with all relevant internal and external clients. Develop relationships with all levels from the consultants through to supervisors and managers.
2. Drive the on-going maintenance of the sales management system:-
• Key Account Management Program
• Computerized Account Data Base (when instigated)
3. Ensure property-wide implementation and understanding of all Saigon Prince Hotel core programs to include, but not limit to:
• Saigon Prince Hotel frequent Booker program
• Guest services team
4. Monitor market activity and carry out ongoing research to establish future marketing opportunities.
5. Conduct regular joint sales calls with sales account managers to ensure all sales account management strategies are being implemented.
6. Conduct regular and relevant sales training in conjunction with the Human Resources department.
7. Create a proactive Sales tactical plan, in line with budget expectations, and implement and monitor.
8. Recommend and implement promotions opportunities, as appropriate, and in accordance with business/marketing plan.
9. Ensure all enquires are responded to within 24 hours, e.g. requests made by tour operators, airlines, travel agents, corporate clients.
10. Participate in sales strategy meetings as required.
11. Undertake market research to enable specific targeting of market segments.
12. Undertake initiatives such as Mail outs, promotional activities, representation of Hotel at local membership enterprises and functions, site inspections to immediate market segments.
13. Participate in international and country sales trips as required.
14. Provide weekly and monthly reporting in accordance with Sales procedures to ensure department goals and objectives are met.
15. Develop a close relationship with marketing team to maximize conversion of business.
16. Develop ideas in conjunction with Outlet Department Heads to maximize sales from all areas of the Hotel.
17. Develop ideas for and implement incentives and promotions to focus sales into tough periods.
18. To be actively involved with Hotel staff and to keep staff informed of general activities with the objective of assisting all staff to feel part of the sales team.
19. Recommend attendance at national or regional tradeshows or promotions. Undertake tradeshows as appropriate.
20. Oversee the maintenance of an accurate database of all key contacts.
21. Establish and maintain effective employee relations and inter-departmental working relationships.
22. Conduct such functions as interviewing, hiring, employee orientation, performance appraisal, coaching and counseling to ensure appropriate staffing and productivity. Consult with Executive Assistant Manager, Human Resources Manager as appropriate in performing above duties.
23. Perform any other related duties and special projects that may be assigned by Executive Assistant Manager from time to time.
24. Consistently achieve desired outcomes and maintain focus on key priorities.
25. Demonstrate initiative and the ability to manage time and work priorities.
26. Be co-operative and supportive of other team members through consulting, providing feedback and sharing information with others.

- A diploma or degree qualification.
- Fluency in oral and written English
- Good in planning, organizing and co-ordination.
- Previous hotel-related experience
