DSP Software Engineer (Embedded/Telecom/English)

1. Voice Digital Signal Processing (DSP): In-depth knowledge of DSP algorithms including EchoCancellation, Tone Detection, Voice Activity Detection, Compression/Decompression, andDe-Jitter Buffering, as applied in VoIP systems. Knowledge of VoIP speech codec, such as G.711,G.729a, G.722, iLBC, iSac, and Opus.2. Working experience on FAX and Modem: In-depth knowledge of fax protocol T.30 and fax over IPprotocol T.38. Modem data pump protocol such as V.32bis and V.34. knowledge of data linkprotocol V.42 and V.14.3. Telephony Signaling: Knowledge of telephony signaling protocols (FXS/FXO) and a strong graspof related electrical characteristics such as impedance, voltage, and current.4. Embedded Systems & Linux Device Drivers: Hands-on experience in embedded systemssoftware development and Linux device driver implementation.5. Programming & Debugging: Proficient in C, Python, and shell scripting. Thorough understandingof SoC chip architectures, code generation such as GCC, CLANG or any compiler provided byDSP vendors, and debugging tools such as gdb or any IDE provided by chip vendors. Familiaraudio analyzer such as Audacity and Cool Edit, and network protocol analyzer such asWireshark.6. Hardware Project Development: Demonstrated experience in developing hardware projects fromthe ground up.7. AI for productivity and innovation: Experience using AI to streamline and automatedevelopment/testing workflows, troubleshooting or customer support. Knowledge of AIframeworks such as LangChain, MCP, LLM integration and prompt engineering for building AIsolutions.8. Communication & Collaboration: English in communication skills with the ability to coordinateeffectively with cross-functional teams.
