You’ll focus on embedded software across bare-metal microcontrollers and embedded Linux platforms, working on everything from low-level motor and sensor drivers to real-time control and system orchestration. Your code will directly power the flight behavior, navigation, and decision-making of our drones. Expect to work closely with hardware, autonomy, and AI teams to develop tightly integrated, high-reliability systems built for the real world. What You’ll Do• Develop and maintain real-time embedded software for flight control, navigation, and sensor interfacing• Design robust communication protocols and fault-tolerant control loops for autonomous systems• Implement motion planning and decision-making logic for aerial robotics (e.g., obstacle avoidance, path planning)• Work on low-level board bring-up for custom electronics platforms—ranging from bare-metal MCU development (Teensy-class boards) to embedded Linux platforms• Collaborate with AI, perception, and hardware teams to tightly integrate control software with high-level autonomy and system hardware• Profile and optimize real-time code for reliability and performance in resource-constrained environments
