Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, seasoning meats, and preparing sauces.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen surfaces, equipment, and utensils.
Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food supplies and ingredients.
Follow established recipes and portion sizes under the guidance of senior kitchen staff.
Learn and adhere to food safety and sanitation procedures at all times.
Assist in setting up and breaking down kitchen stations before and after service.
Handle basic kitchen equipment such as knives, mixers, slicers, and grinders under supervision.
Support other kitchen staff as needed in various tasks during busy periods.
Attend training sessions and workshops to improve culinary skills and knowledge.
Perform additional duties as assigned by kitchen supervisors or chefs.
