Role SummaryAs a Technical Owner, you’ll take full ownership of the technical side of our product — from system architecture to delivery. You’ll work closely with founders, product teams, and engineers to bring ideas to life in a fast-paced, resource-constrained startup environment. Job Responsibilities:
Own and drive the technical vision and architecture of the product.
Design and build core features from scratch using scalable, modern technologies.
Collaborate with the founding team to shape the product roadmap based on technical feasibility and long-term scalability.
Make key architectural decisions (e.g. monolith vs microservices, cloud provider, database selection, devops pipeline).
Write clean, maintainable code and enforce best practices (code review, testing, CI/CD).
Mentor junior engineers and build a strong engineering culture as the team scales.
Stay hands-on with development (approx. 50–70% coding, 30–50% leading/mentoring).
Communicate tech decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Skill & Qualification Requirements
5+ years of software development experience, including 1–2 years in a leadership/ownership role.
Experience building early-stage products, ideally from MVP to production scale.
Strong skills in either frontend (React, Vue...) or backend (Node.js, Python, Java...) – ideally both.
Good grasp of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or similar), CI/CD, databases, and system design.
Ability to prioritize speed vs scalability, depending on stage of product.
Comfortable working with ambiguity, limited specs, and tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills – can align tech with business.
Bonus Points
Experience in a founding tech team or CTO track.
Experience with analytics, A/B testing, feature flagging, etc.
Familiarity with lean methodology, or agile delivery.
Interest in building developer culture and hiring early team members.
