The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for overseeing and managing the engineering activities within the manufacturing facility, ensuring that products and machine are produced and maintained well to meet quality standards, not disrupt production schedules, and cost objectives. He plans and coordinates with R&D and production team, serve as a bridge between R&D and other departments to formulate and apply design criteria, production requirements, and evaluate initial design or recommends modifications.Essential functions and key responsibilities are:Lead and manage the Engineer team, providing guidance, mentoring, and training to ensure the team's success and professional growth.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, production, sourcing, quality...) to develop and implement new machine/technique/products/parts or processes.Cooperate with other teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall operational performance.Monitor and analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.Ensure compliance with industry standards to maintain a safe and environmentally work environment.Manage and oversee the implementation of new equipment, technologies, and automation systems to enhance manufacturing capabilities and efficiency.Develop and manage the Mechanical engineering budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and cost control.Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source and evaluate new technologies, materials, and equipment to improve manufacturing processes and reduce costs.Provide engineering support and guidance to resolve complex manufacturing issues, troubleshoot problems, and optimize production output.
