ABOUT THE ROLEAs a Commercialization Engineer, you will be responsible for bringing VF-owned brand footwear designs to life by engineering products for efficient manufacturability, lowest cost, and highest quality and performance. Based in one of VF’s key manufacturing regions and working closely with strategic vendors, you will serve as a critical liaison between VF’s development and production teams, ensuring product intent is maintained while meeting commercial and operational requirements.You will work hands-on with factory and brand development teams, ensuring best practices in commercialization are applied early in the product development cycle. 1. Job Purpose & Scope This position is responsible for plan production tasks and schedules according to customer orders. Most tasks involve to manage production planning and control system as well as communicate of plant production volume and forecast volume through Production Schedule, follow up and monitor production output according to customer priority, review any impact from operational processes to production volume and reorganize production plan, feedback problem to responsible person in order to get the goods deliver to customer as commitment. keeping and updating records and information, as well as coordinating purchasing with clients and co-workers. It is the job of the production planner to ensure smooth operations & 4M management throughout the production and distribution life of a given product. Accordingly, duties may also include monitoring production rates and raw material prices, manpower requirement, contacting vendors and checking inventories.2. Key Responsibilities & Job Content • Plans and prepares production schedules for manufacture of industrial or commercial products: Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders, and communicate production status to Mangers and Customers on regular basis. • Participate in Contract Review with Customer Services and Sales on every receipt of order to complete Confirmation Order Process. • Coordinate with Customer Services in receiving most updated Customer forecast, confirmation order and Customer requirement. Analyze and set up priority in Production Schedule. • Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements. • Plans and schedules workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times. • Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions. • Periodically check inventory & logistics data and report to manage and control balance stock in warehouse, and maximize ratio of WIP & F/G flow out. • Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Logistics & Warehouse and/or concerned function in preparing and updating Production Schedule according to customer requirement, engineering changes and material availability in plant and production capacity. • Monitor the execution of production plan and resolve any potential issues in a timely fashion. Investigate production problem, analyze root causes and provide solutions. Escalate complex issues to Manager for resolution. Monitor production progress and ensure that final product meets quality standards and customer specifications. • Analyze back orders, current orders and upcoming orders to prioritize, plan, and schedule the production operations. Analyze delays and interruptions and accordingly adjust production schedule to meet deadlines. • Develop and review production plan, initiate and implement the “Forward Order Program” to help the department with quick retrieval of information and order maintenance through forecast of volume plan. • Periodical visit customer and communicate Product Special instruction and customer requirement through Production Schedule, ensure that those requirements are follow through production process. • Update in the system of the most update information of product recipe and provide raw Material requirement list to Purchasing for the availability of raw materials for that week Production Schedule and forecast of raw material for future use. • Prepare, control and manage the availability of product label for that production week includes special attachment on product that may require by customer. • Follow up and monitor production output according to the priority and customer requirement date in production schedule, foresee to predict production scheduling & communicate to concerned function, feedback problem to responsible person with Industrial Engineering Concepts in order to get the Finished Goods delivery to customer as commitment. • Prepare Key Performance Indicator (KPI) report on monthly basis for production planning activities and sequences. • Work on special or any other assignment as identified by direct supervisor.

As an Environmental Improvement Specialist, you work with T1 & T2 suppliers to drive decarbonization and environmental improvements plan at the supplier facilities (hard goods & softgoods) to ensure alignment with brands environmental goals. You offer technical expertise to support T1 & T2 suppliers for environmental improvement activities. You will also coordinate with Brands’ sourcing teams on project implementation alignment and updates.Key responsibilities:• Support Manager to lead the engagement and collaboration with T1 & T2 suppliers to develop and implement decarbonization and environmental improvement strategies and measure progress toward targets.• Assess supplier environmental performance (GHG emissions, energy efficiency, waste, water) and support the development of performance improvement plans.• Partner with sourcing and procurement teams, the Group’s and Brands’ Sustainability teams (ESG), and Global Sourcing Vendor Sustainability teams to ensure supplier alignment with corporate sustainability policies and standards.• Monitor emerging regulations and corporate commitments relevant to T1 & T2 supplier environmental performance, assisting suppliers in achieving compliance.• Deliver supplier capacity-building and best-practice sharing workshops for T1 & T2 suppliers.• Support audits, sustainability reviews, and reporting cycles tied to supplier performance and climate action.
