Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Kubernetes Engineer to support development teams and lead the configuration of production-grade container orchestration solutions. This role focuses heavily on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and requires hands-on expertise with advanced Kubernetes tooling and practices, including Helm, Istio Service Mesh, eBPF, Prometheus, Grafana, and multi-cluster management and disaster recovery (DR). Core ResponsibilitiesDesign, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters with a focus on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).Support development teams in containerizing applications and optimizing deployment pipelines.Implement and manage Helm charts for application packaging and deployment.Configure and maintain Istio Service Mesh for traffic routing, security, and observability.Utilize eBPF for advanced observability, networking, and performance tuning.Set up and maintain monitoring and alerting systems using Prometheus and Grafana.Architect and manage multi-cluster Kubernetes environments, ensuring scalability and high availability.Develop and implement disaster recovery (DR) strategies for Kubernetes workloads.Collaborate with DevOps, security, and development teams to ensure best practices in container orchestration.Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
