We hire seniors who can lead their domain, not execute instructions. ABOUT THE ROLEYou own the 2D art pipeline. Working from an Art Director-defined Style Guide and Game Feel Bible, you translate approved specs into production-ready assets across items, UI, and visual effects. The Art Director is the visual authority. Your job is to execute within the established system at a high level of craft and consistency. RESPONSIBILITIESProduce all items and character art: clean, readable at small mobile screen sizes, consistent with the style guideDeliver full UI asset production across core screens. Pixel-perfect, mobile-optimized, ready for Unity integrationSupport VFX asset creation in close collaboration with the VFX/Animation Programmer. Particle textures, sprite sheets, screen effect elementsMaintain a structured asset library that integrates cleanly with the generative artist's placeholder pipelineIterate on assets based on playtest feedback, prioritize what players respond to, not what looks best in isolationCommunicate proactively with the Art Director on spec ambiguities before starting production
