Automation Field Service Engineer

Roles And Responsibilities• Commissioning and service activities, including preventive maintenance, overhaul and modifications, for the GEA Filling customers in the country or in SEA Region.• Diagnose and resolve automation software issues related to PLC, HMI, SCADA, and PC systems.• Guide customers in troubleshooting electrical, pneumatic, controls, and instrumentation faults remotely.• Advise customers on possible upgrades and support the technical quotations for service sales solutions.• Support the digital products proposals and sales.• Offer remote support for emergency and non-emergency technical issues onsite.• Manage claim processing for the customer.• Keeping up to date on administrative responsibilities such as customer service logs/ reports and internal service records in timely manner.• Work proactively to enhance the overall customer experience with GEA.• Identifying and support the service sales opportunities such as spare parts proposal, modification or upgrades.• Entrepreneurial mindset, able to work both in a team and independently.• Collaborate with colleague from other GEA entities to enhance the service support quality.• Willingness to travel within the country and SEA region at least 70% of annual working days.
