Data Governance Expert (Database, Security)

1. Data Governance Framework ExecutionSupport the implementation of the enterprise data governance framework across business units.Maintain and update data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure alignment with organizational and regulatory requirements.2. Data Quality ManagementDefine, measure, and monitor data quality KPIs and rules across key data domains.Identify data quality issues, conduct root cause analyses, and coordinate remediation with data owners and IT teams.Develop and maintain a data quality dashboard and reporting mechanism.3. Data Ownership & StewardshipCollaborate with business data owners and data stewards to ensure data accountability and proper data handling.Support the documentation of business data definitions, ensuring consistency and alignment in the business glossary.Provide guidance and training to data stewards on governance practices, tools, and procedures.4. Metadata & Master Data ManagementSupport metadata collection, data lineage mapping, and cataloging activities.Maintain metadata repositories and ensure updates reflect business and technical changes.Contribute to master data management (MDM) initiatives to improve data consistency across systems.5. Regulatory Compliance & Data PrivacySupport the alignment of governance activities with data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, local data protection laws, SBV/financial regulations).Work with Risk, Compliance, and Security teams to ensure proper classification and access control of sensitive data.
