Assists hotel guests efficiently, courteously and professionally.
Handles guests' inquiries and provides correct information to the guests.
Checks in and checks out guests;
Provides courteous service to guests and responds promptly and tactfully to guests’ requests and enquiries during check-in;
Checks all guests with the exception of groups who are registered upon check-in with cross-references made against passports and vouchers to ensure the right guests are being checked in;
Requesting deposits for incidental charges from guests per standard operating policies where billing instructions indicates room charges only to Company or Travel Agent. Deposits may be made through credit cards, foreign or local currencies;
Obtain sufficient deposit for the entire stay for personal accounts;
Program the right room key card for the guests;
Updates guest information accordingly into the hotel installed system;
Arranges for room change requests from guests as soon as the room is available with proper documentation adhered;
Attaches and places all faxes and information pertaining to guests’ billing instructions in the guest dockets;
Posts all bills (restaurant/laundry/miscellaneous) to guests’ account without delay and place them in the respective docket. Forwards and receives facsimile and messages for guests;
Ensures all guests verify charges and settle accounts before departure;
Post all late checkouts accordingly;
Ensures audit balances are done at the end of each shift. All foreign currencies must be submitted together with the collection for the shift;
Ensures all remittance submissions witnessed by the Front Office Manager;
Handles foreign exchange and safe deposit at the Front Office;
Takes immediate action against feedback and ensures guests are satisfied with services;
Familiarize with all ongoing events within X2 Hoi An as well as in Hoi An & Da Nang City;
To operate the telephone switchboard and answer all in-coming and out-going calls including internal communication;
Programs wake-up calls for guests and ensures that guests’ wake-up calls are promptly received, noted and carried out;
Reports and records repairs and equipment maintenance requests;
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Management;
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
- Outstanding verbal and written communications skills in English, additional foreign language is a plus;
- Pro-active with a passion for luxury hospitality;
- A minimum of 01year experience in a similar role, preferably in the luxury and upscale settings;
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication skills at all levels, socially articulate in a business sense;
