This position is responsible for maximizing room revenue contribution through a thorough understanding of all booking channels and management of inventory and rate therein.
Revenue Management
- Analyze and adapt to changing distribution models and booking trends.
- Optimize resort and corporate pricing strategies through effective management of BAR levels, stay restrictions, and other tactics.
- Maintain rates that uphold integrity and protect long-term customer relationships.
- Collaborate with the Revenue Management Team to create and offer engaging rate packages through appropriate channels.
- Monitor booking trends across all segments to adjust pricing and availability controls.
- Complete accurate rooms and revenue forecasting.
- Ensure proper system overrides and special event entries.
- Maintain and analyze demand data, both historical and future.
- Work with Sales & Marketing to strategically select business opportunities.
- Track and analyze competitor pricing and yield strategies.
- Participate in strategic planning, marketing, and budgeting processes.
- Lead weekly Revenue Management Meetings and prepare necessary materials.
- Prepares revenue updates as required
Team Management
• Interview, select and recruit direct reports
• Identify and develop team members with potential
• Conduct performance review with the team
• Constantly monitor team members’ appearance, attitude and degree of professionalism
• Develop, conduct maintain all staff training programs for team members, focusing on their development needs, providing them with new skills to meet the changing needs of the business
Other Responsibilities
• Be aware of the Resort fire & life safety/emergency procedures
• Attend all briefings, meetings and trainings as assigned by management
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times
• Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the assigned by the Management
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
Knowledge and Experience
• Diploma in Tourism / Hospitality Management• Prior experience in Revenue Management is an asset.
• Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
• High degree of professionalism with sound human resources management and business acumen capabilities
