Sales Executive is responsible for actively selling hotel rooms, meeting facilities, and other services to corporate accounts, travel agents, and MICE clients. This role focuses on achieving revenue targets, building strong client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities to maximize hotel profitability.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Activities & Revenue Generation
Achieve assigned sales targets for rooms, meetings, events, and other hotel services.
Proactively prospect new clients and develop new accounts in assigned market segments (Corporate, MICE, Travel Trade).
Conduct site inspections and entertainment for potential and existing clients.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to clients.
Negotiate contracts and close deals to maximize revenue.
2. Account Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and decision-makers.
Regularly visit existing clients to maintain relationships and identify upselling opportunities.
Handle client inquiries, requests, and feedback promptly and professionally.
Monitor account performance and develop action plans for underperforming accounts.
3. Market Intelligence
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
Provide feedback and suggestions on pricing, positioning, and sales strategies.
Identify new market segments and business opportunities.
4. Coordination & Communication
Coordinate with other departments (Front Office, F&B, Events) to ensure smooth execution of group bookings and events.
Prepare and distribute group resumes and banquet event orders (BEOs).
Communicate client requirements clearly to operations teams.
Participate in sales meetings, briefings, and training sessions.
5. Reporting & Administration
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, calls, and entertainment in the system.
Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports as required.
Update and maintain client databases and contact information.
Ensure all contracts and documentation are properly filed.
6. Other Duties
Participate in sales trips, trade shows, and industry events.
Support hotel promotional campaigns and activities.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Sales or Sales Manager.
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience in the hotel industry, preferably in a 4-5 star hotel.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building client relationships.
Skills & Competencies
Strong sales and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of market segments (Corporate, MICE, Travel Trade).
Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel management systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
