ABOUT THE POSITION: Reporting to the Global Director of Infrastructure & Network, the Regional IT Manager will be responsible for all the infrastructure (Network, System), Security and Business Application related items within the specific region assigned. ABOUT THE POSITION:The SAP BASIC Administrator partners with internal and external functional, technical and security resources to maintain the life-cycle management, security, and performance of Qorvo’s SAP and On Prem systems along with cloud environment. Responsible for running the SAP landscape (managing routine maintenance, operation, and upgrades), and plays a critical role in planning and executing migrations and other major projects.RESPONSIBILITIES:• Coordinate and execute the implementation, configuration and management of all the SAP on-prem and on cloud systems, including but not limited to, SAP ECC, SAP S/4 Hana, SAP Fiori, SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM), SAP PO/PI, SAP Business Objects, SAP BI Platform and SAP Solution Manager. Manage and implement database administration tasks to ensure annual plan completion and support the Department Head as assigned.1. Planning- Assist the Department Head in managing and implementing the section’s activity plans as scheduled and assigned.2. Operations Management- Oversee, operate, and maintain databases to ensure stable, secure, and continuous operations.- Ensure database security and optimize performance and resource usage.- Regularly monitor database status (both logical and physical), propose risk mitigation solutions, and apply vendor patches promptly.- Plan, execute, and verify data backup and recovery as required.- Coordinate with APD teams to manage, store, and restore IT data effectively.- Ensure database consistency, access control, and authorized resource use.- Monitor backups to prevent data loss, unauthorized changes, or illegal access.3. Staff Management- Support KPI allocation for team members.- Monitor performance against targets and conduct regular reviews.- Guide and organize training plans to enhance team expertise and professional development.
