Nếu điều phái bay biết được tình huống khẩn cấp gây nguy hiểm cho sự an toàn của tàu bay hoặc người thì hành động của điều phái bay đó phải bao gồm, khi cần thiết, thông báo ngay cho cơ quan có thẩm quyền về bản chất của tình huống đó và yêu cầu hỗ trợ nếu được yêu cầu. VAR 16.023 c.5. Đối với khai thác vận tải hàng không thương mại, phải áp dụng các yêu cầu kiểm soát khai thác của Phần 16. VAR 10.114 b, VAR 16.013 b.6. Yêu cầu và kiểm tra Kế hoạch bay trên máy tính CFP cho các chuyến bay do mình kiểm soát, để phát hiện các lỗi về đường bay, độ cao, trọng lượng, điểm kiểm tra, thời gian, thông tin thời tiết, nhiên liệu cần thiết, v.v.11. Kiểm tra mức tiêu thụ nhiên liệu phù hợp cho các chuyến bay thuộc phạm vi quản lý của mình, tính đến chi phí nhiên liệu tương đối tại các đầu sân bay. Đồng thời thông báo cho nhân viên chuyên trách về yêu cầu nhiên liệu.12. Xác minh trọng lượng tối đa cất cánh, hạ cánh và chưa có nhiên liệu cho từng chặng bay.13. Cho phép phóng hành cho từng chuyến bay sau khi lựa chọn sân bay dự bị phù hợp và xem xét các yếu tố trên và cho phép phóng hành sửa đổi nếu cần thiết khi các điều kiện thay đổi.14. Theo dõi tiến độ chuyến bay do mình điều hành.15. Luôn cập nhật và đủ trình độ về mọi mặt liên quan đến quy trình điều phái, thông số kỹ thuật khai thác, nội dung của Sổ tay hướng dẫn khai thác và tàu bay của Công ty.16. Phối hợp với OCC về mọi thay đổi vào phút cuối về lịch trình, thiết bị, sự chậm trễ, hủy chuyến bay, v.v.17.
