We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager with a strong background in market research, competitive benchmarking, and product strategy within the automotive or automotive accessories industry. This role is pivotal in driving data-driven decisions for product positioning, competitive analysis, and sales enablement.
The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in product analysis, understand market dynamics, and possess the ability to train and support internal teams, particularly in sales and marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Benchmarking & Competitive Analysis
• Conduct detailed competitor benchmarking, analyzing features, pricing strategies, and market positioning of key automotive accessories (e.g., dashcams, head units, TPMS, etc.).
• Work closely with Sales, Marketing and R&D teams to define product differentiation strategies and identify gaps in the market.
• Develop and maintain a competitive intelligence database to track industry trends and evolving consumer preferences.
2. Market Research & Consumer Insights
• Design and execute market surveys, analyzing industry trends, customer needs, and pain points.
• Provide data-driven recommendations on product development and marketing strategies based on real-time market insights.
• Identify and define customer personas, ensuring that product positioning aligns with actual market demand.
3. Product Positioning & Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy
• Work with marketing and sales teams to craft compelling product messaging, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and competitive advantages.
• Assist in defining GTM strategies, including launch plans, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns.
• Ensure consistent product communication across all channels, including digital marketing, sales collateral, and dealer networks.
4. Training & Sales Enablement
• Develop and deliver product training programs for internal teams, resellers, and partners, ensuring they understand product USPs and key selling points.
• Support the sales team by providing data-backed arguments and competitive insights to enhance their pitch and negotiation skills.
• Create technical documentation, sales guides, and training materials for both internal and external stakeholders.
