Your impact will be recognized, and if career growth is important to you, we not only know how to support your development—we're passionate about it:   WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING Front-end Development  Develop, test, and maintain highly performant and scalable code using modern front-end frameworks.  Build reusable and modular components and libraries for future use.  Ensure that the web applications are responsive, fast, and optimized for various devices and browsers.  Write and maintain high-quality, clean, and well-documented code that follows best practices in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS/SASS.  Architecture & Design  Lead the design and development of complex front-end applications, ensuring scalability and performance.  Collaborate with backend engineers to ensure seamless integration between the front-end and backend systems via REST APIs or WebSockets.  Influence the architecture and design decisions of the product, including component structure, state management, and data flow.  Performance Optimization  Optimize application performance by leveraging techniques such as lazy loading, code splitting, and asset optimization.  Use tools like Lighthouse and Chrome DevTools to monitor and improve front-end performance metrics like render time, and load time.  Cross-Functional Collaboration  Collaborate with multiple product teams to implement design artifacts held in Figma and similar tools into finished static resources for incorporation into Simpson Strong-Tie’s digital products.   Collaborate with product managers to define and implement product features and improvements.  Lead technical discussions with backend engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to build cohesive and efficient systems.  Partner with other teams across the organization to weigh in on project priorities, project estimation, and risk identification for roadmap projects.  Contribute to multiple releases across Simpson Strong-Tie’s digital product portfolio.   Mentorship & Code Reviews  Mentor Interns, Engineer and Associate Senior Engineer, and providing guidance on best practices, architectural decisions, and professional growth.  Perform regular code reviews to ensure high-quality code and provide constructive feedback.  Lead efforts to establish and enforce coding standards and best practices across the team.  Testing & Quality Assurance  Ensure high code quality through the implementation of unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end (E2E) testing using frameworks.  Participate in bug triaging and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently.  Continuous Improvement  Drive continuous improvement in front-end development processes, tools, and frameworks.  Stay up to date with emerging trends and best practices in front-end development and bring innovative ideas to the team.  Work with the DevOps team to integrate front-end applications into CI/CD pipelines and ensure seamless deployment. 

3rd Party Product Discovery & Evaluation Research and identify innovative tools, platforms, and service providers that align with our product and business goals. Coordinate Discussions internally and with 3rd parties to align on potential for Product Development Perform feasibility assessments and lead the preparation of business cases for proposed integrations. Manage all proposals for 3rd Party Product development, including Go-to-Market and launch activity. Help drive the development of new client facing products according to the product innovation pipeline and annual sales cycle. Support underlying strategic transformation from ‘human supported by tech’ to ‘tech supported by human’ and other company strategies. Integration & GTM (Go-to-market) Readiness Act as the internal project lead for onboarding and launching new 3rd party products and services. Coordinate across departments (Product, Tech, Ops, Marketing) to ensure readiness for launch, including documentation, support materials, and internal communications. Track and follow through on dependencies and timelines to ensure smooth execution. Operational Vendor Management Maintain day-to-day coordination with existing 3rd party vendors. Monitor vendor performance and SLAs, identify issues early, and coordinate resolution with internal stakeholders. Help manage contract renewals, pricing reviews, and change management processes. ​​​​​​​​​​Documentation & Enablement Document workflows, integration touchpoints, and key operational considerations for each partner. Contribute to internal knowledge bases and training materials to ensure teams understand how each partner service fits into the wider ecosystem.

ABOUT THE ROLEAs our Client Experience & Onboarding Specialist, you will lead the design and execution of workflows that minimize friction and maximize satisfaction during the customer journey. You will play a key role in shaping the support infrastructure and onboarding process across a hybrid suite of internal and third-party tools used in our white-label service offerings.You will also act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the technical implementation and usage of third-party platforms, ensuring that both clients and internal teams are well-supported and aligned. This includes providing direct client-facing guidance, training, and coordination for onboarding projects where third-party software is involved.
