OVERVIEW OF POSITION
The Assistant Income & Gaming Audit Manager supports the Income & Gaming Audit Manager in ensuring compliance with operational and administrative policies. This role involves overseeing daily audit functions, monthly entries, and account reconciliations related to F&B and Gaming operations. The Assistant Manager collaborates with staff and operational departments to resolve audit exceptions and ensure the accuracy of revenue records.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Assist in compiling and auditing all income and gaming-related issues to ensure all revenue records are accurate and discrepancies are promptly reported.
- Control documents for all areas of F&B and Casino operations, consolidate shift reports, and prepare regular revenue and audit reports.
- Collect all supporting documents necessary for the audit process.
- Perform audit procedures on all F&B outlets' revenue transactions and reconcile functions on invoices billed by leased outlets.
- Provide manual adjustments in POS as needed.
- Prepare outlet revenue POS reports, cash overage/shortage reports, and other necessary audit procedures.
- Complete month-end duties by conducting account reconciliations and journal entry adjustments.
- Perform daily audits on slots, cage, VIP gaming, and promotions.
- Ensure audit checklists are up-to-date, diligently followed, and signed off.
- Supervise quarterly and periodic audits with internal and external departments, including cash counts, card audits, unscheduled machine counts, key audits, physical cage counts, and slot audits.
- Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies and attendance guidelines.
- Supervise subordinate staff in performing daily audit tasks timely, and provide mentoring, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Assist in preparing Income and Gaming Audit policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with internal control policies and procedures by other departments and resolve non-compliance issues.
- Monitor the auditing process for all gaming and non-gaming activities and recommend revisions as business processes and systems evolve.
- Inform the Income & Gaming Audit Manager of significant issues requiring resolution in a timely manner.
- Communicate audit exceptions to operational departments and document findings, notifying Finance management as needed.
- Assist the Income & Gaming Audit Manager in managing ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned by casino management.
KEY FUNCTIONS
Audit Management
- Assist in compiling and auditing income and gaming-related issues, ensure revenue records are accurate and discrepancies are promptly reported.
- Control and consolidate shift reports, prepare regular revenue and audit reports.
Audit Procedures
- Perform audit procedures on F&B outlets' revenue transactions, reconcile invoices billed by leased outlets and make necessary manual adjustments in POS.
- Complete month-end duties by conduct account reconciliations and journal entry adjustments.
Compliance and Control
- Ensure compliance with internal control policies and procedures, resolve non-compliance issues and monitor the auditing process for all gaming and non-gaming activities.
- Conduct quarterly and periodic audits, including cash counts, card audits, unscheduled machine counts, key audits, physical cage counts, and slot audits.
Team Supervision and Development
- Supervise subordinate staff, provide mentoring, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure timely completion of daily audit tasks.
- Assist in preparing audit policies and procedures, contribute to the development and implementation of effective audit practices.
Reporting and Communication
- Prepare reports and communicate audit exceptions, document findings and notify Finance management as needed.
- Inform management of significant issues, provide timely updates to the Income & Gaming Audit Manager on critical audit matters.

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting/auditing, with specific experience in income audit preferred.
- Familiarity with accounting and auditing principles and practices.
- Experience in a supervisory role with responsibility for subordinate staff.
- Previous hospitality audit experience with computerized PMS and POS systems (e.g., Micros Opera and Micros Symphony) preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant computer applications.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal in English.
- Strong people management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
