ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Recruitment & Training Specialist at Pasteur Street Craft Beer (PSCB), you will play a key role in attracting the right talent, onboarding new hires, and building a strong, engaged team across all our locations. You will collaborate closely with internal functions (HR, Operations, Marketing etc) and managers to ensure consistent hiring standards and training excellence across all locations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Recruitment & Onboarding (60%)

• Partner with taproom managers to identify staffing needs in all positions for taproom operations.

• Coordinate end-to-end recruitment for taproom roles (from manager to front-line staff) and office roles.

• Write job postings and advertise job ads on appropriate platforms and social media channels.

• Screen applications, conduct initial interviews, and arrange/attend final interviews with hiring managers.

• Organize and support recruitment events and maintain active candidate pipelines.

• Manage onboarding processes to ensure a smooth and engaging new-hire experience.

• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports on recruitment status.

Training & Development (30%)

• Organize training sessions for new and current staff (service standards, beer knowledge, upselling, POS systems).

• Collaborate with taproom/office managers to assess training needs and skill gaps.

• Support the rollout and maintenance of training programs (e.g., SOPs, beer knowledge, customer service).

• Track training participation and completion rates

• Monitor training progress and staff performance post-training.

• Prepare and submit monthly reports on training and development status.

Teambuilding & Culture (10%)

• Plan and execute monthly team-building activities or internal engagement events.

• Support the development of a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment

• Collect and address feedback from staff on morale, communication, and teamwork.
