DevOps Engineer (AWS/ Database)

As a DevOps Engineer at Gearment, you will be directly involved in building, deploying, and operating the infrastructure that powers millions of order fulfillment processes monthly. You’ll work closely with other DevOps and software engineers to ensure our systems are stable, scalable, and cost-effective.Your main responsibility is to implement and maintain infrastructure solutions designed by Technical Leads and Architects. You will also help automate development workflows, monitor system health, and improve internal tools to boost developer productivity.  Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for all current and future Gearment projects. Deploy and operate infrastructure based on predefined architecture, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability. Set up centralized logging and monitoring systems to help teams detect issues and improve observability. Develop and maintain internal engineering tools to enhance developer experience and productivity. Ensure service level objectives (SLOs) and service level agreements (SLAs) are met across environments, and assist in incident handling and root cause analysis. Track and optimize cloud infrastructure costs, ensuring spending remains within budget (e.g., below 1% of company revenue). Follow security best practices and ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards when managing infrastructure.
