Room Division Manager is the strategic leader and brand custodian for the heart of the hotel's operations. This position holds ultimate accountability for the seamless, profitable, and exceptional guest journey from pre-arrival to departure, encompassing the Front Office, Housekeeping, Concierge, and related services. The incumbent will drive operational excellence, financial performance, and team development to achieve the highest standards of guest satisfaction and uphold the prestigious reputation of the hotel.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Guest Experience: Develop and implement operational strategies to exceed guest satisfaction targets (e.g., GSS, Revinate scores). Lead from the floor, regularly interact with guests, and personally handle escalated feedback to guarantee flawless stays and effective service recovery.
Team Leadership & Development: Directly supervise departmental heads, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management. Drive the recruitment, training, and development of all Rooms Division staff to build a high-performing and guest-centric team.
Operational & Financial Excellence: Oversee all daily operations to ensure efficiency, brand compliance, and adherence to safety/security standards. Manage the division's budget, P&L, and key metrics (Occupancy, ADR, RevPAR). Implement cost-control measures without compromising service quality.
Inter-Departmental Coordination & Standards: Ensure flawless communication and collaboration between Front Office, Housekeeping, Concierge, and other departments (e.g., F&B, Engineering). Conduct daily briefings and regular inspections to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and service delivery.
Working Place: Nam O Heritage -Đường Nguyễn Tất Thành, Phường Hải Vân, Thành phố Đà Nẵng, Việt Nam.
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 - 8 years of progressive experience in hotel operations, with at least 3 - 4 years in a senior leadership role within the Rooms Division (e.g., Front Office Manager, Executive Housekeeper) at a 5-star international hotel or resort.
- Proven expertise in managing large teams, departmental budgets, and P&L statements.
- Strong operational knowledge of PMS (e.g., Opera), housekeeping management tools, and relevant hotel systems.
- Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Ability to perform under pressure and make decisive decisions.
- Excellent command of English and Vietnamese (verbal and written). A third language is an advantage.
