Responsibilities
• Taking part actively in the daily operation of the Restaurant assisting Chef de Rang and Assistant Restaurant Manager
• Ensure the company standards in term of service and guest satisfaction
• Taking care of each and every guest at anytime
Job Brief
As a waiter/tress you are the first to welcome our guests to the venue in a friendly, professional and sincere manner. You are always working in front of the house and you love sparking up conversation with guests and to share your love of the city with them.
You are responsible for ensuring our guests in the restaurant a warm and homely experience. Your excellent product knowledge means that you can recommend food and beverages from the bar, prepare and serve them independently. Not only are you ready to give all our guests that personal touch, but you are also responsible for the till during the shift, and cashing up correctly after every shift. You mostly will be working independently and ensure your workspace is always fully prepared for your colleagues.
Core Work Activities
• Identify customer needs and expectations correctly, including those with special needs, and provide appropriate products, services or information
• Meet all reasonable needs and requests of customers within acceptable enterprise time frames
• Identify and take all opportunities to enhance the quality of service
• Offer assistance to colleagues when required, to ensure designated work goals are met
• Demonstrate trust, support and respect towards team members in day-to-day work activities
• Conduct communication with customers and colleagues in a polite, professional and friendly manner
• Practice high standards of personal presentation in accordance with the Company Grooming & Presentation Standards
• Seek assistance from other team members, supervisors and managers when required
• Anticipate customer needs and expectations correctly, including those with special needs, and provide appropriate products, services or information
• Identify and take all opportunities to enhance the quality of service (upselling, guest recognition, resort knowledge)
• To be familiar with the beverage service including stemware used and appropriate garnishes.
• To complete opening and closing side work as assigned and has all tables set according to standard.
• To report any accident or guest complaint immediately, no matter how minor, to a manager.
• To recognize and address potential disruptive or undesirable guests.
• To keep service area clean and tidy.
• To provide unobtrusive and professional service in accordance with our sequence.
• To provide quick and attentive assistance to any mishap in the restaurant operation.
• To identify potential problems and ask for assistance before a breakdown occurs.
• To provide lateral service within the company whenever needed.
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and non-verbally with others
- Ability to prioritize, anticipate situations, and take quick action
- Good level of English and fluent in Vietnamese
- At least 1 year experience in food and beverage industry
- Must be available to work full time.
- Experience in resolving customer issues/complaints as well as overall excellent customer service required
- Professional, friendly, polite & punctual
