Purpose of Role:• FDM Supervisor VN plays a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the processes related to edible, packaging, and ingredient Bills of Materials (BOMs), as well as the data management and review of raw material documents.• Ensuring efficient procedures, logic, and activities within the team, as well as overseeing the management of the Product Data Repository (PDR) system at various levels• Responsible for creating and maintaining updated recipes in PDR system and SAP. Perform technical and economic analysis of new product development recipes or modifications to existing recipes.• Responsible for providing technological documentation/support to cross-functional teams regarding formulations/products.1. Recipe Oversight:a. Supervise the procedures, timing, and issuance of edible, packaging, and ingredient BOMsb. Ensure that BOMs are generated and maintained efficiently, meeting the required standards and deadlines.2. Recipe Logic Management:a. Oversee the logic used to process edible, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established processes.b. Generate recipes of edible part in PDR for new products or modification of existing recipes according to what we are doing on the production floor: BOM adjustment, Scrap Factors, Stickiness Factors.c. Ensure any revision in logic and naming or any guidelines from Group levels are communicated to all users and implemented.d. Share the updated status of the compliance level of PDR recipe logic to Group R&D.3. Recipe and Raw Material Review:a. Ensure a continuous and thorough review process for recipes and the management of raw material documents.b. Guarantee data accuracy and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.4. Team Management:a. Manage and supervise all activities conducted by the Product & Technology (P&T) Data Management Team in Vietnam.b. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to team members to achieve department goals.5. PDR System Management:a. Oversee the management of the Product Data Repository (PDR) system at the raw materials, edible, and packaging levels in Vietnam.b. Ensure the PDR system's effectiveness and data integrity.Other tasks relating to Recipe Specialist:1. Recipe and Raw Material Review:a. Receive, verify, and maintain accurate records of edible recipes within the designated systems (Excel files to SharePoint/SAP/PDR)b. Consolidate usage level of ingredients in existing recipes in support for further evaluation/study at Group level in term of material compliance.c. Involve in managing the change of current recipes include materials, quantity, and formulas by providing assessment for Ingredient list and product claim impact. Working with cross functional teams including Regulatory and QA for further assessment if needed.d. Together with R&D managers, Senior RM Specialist provides insights about BOM quantity of edible part for monthly review of efficiency and saving calculations.2. Annual BOM Review:a. Prepare RM BOMs to reflect any necessary changes for annual Budget.b. Consolidate recipes information includes scrap data, Cal weight, product cost in prepare for annual budget.3. Ensure recipe compliance:a. Ensure to check RM compliance through confirmation from suppliers and proceed preliminary additive limitation assessment based on Additive information from GREG for all export projects.b. During the development of a new recipe, together with R&D team do the preliminary analysis for the maximum limits of additives and country conformity.c. Proactively embracing the updated regulatory requirement by evaluating the impact on current recipes and driving for the compliance of new regulation implementations.4. Documentation and Certifications:a. Collect technological information from R&D and relevant teams (QA, P&D), Suppliers to prepare technical documents for logistics, product registrations.b. Provide to Regulatory with necessary technical information (BOM, CoC, Products technical datasheets, RM Compliance) for product labeling and risk assessment in case of extend exporting markets, renew product labels, registration.c. In case of any recipe updates, ensure the information is communicated to markets through NPD team and continue to provide updated technical documents.5. Flavor Room:a. Support R&D Manager and Flavor Room Supervisor in continuous improvements for Flavor Room (including weekly Gemba, monthly refresh training, and support to consolidating Master data of Flavor Room).b. Responsible for traceability of flavor room

• Supporting Development and Sourcing teams with sample inspection from development through commercialization stages • Carrying out regular inline audits throughout production cycle, from raw materials to finished goods• Ensuring product meets Arc’teryx construction methods and requirements, identifying problems and potential issues proactively • Ensuring regular on-site functional tests for materials, semi-finished goods and finished goods are conducted per requirement • Conducting random inspection audits and final product inspections to ensure all shipments meet Arc’teryx quality standards • Escalating quality issues and failed audits to quality leaders as required• Completing various reports for each stage of inspection process on digital inspection platform (e.g. inline audit, AQL inspections)• Reviewing inspection results with vendor counterparts• Ensuring the best practices and other relevant information communicated and implemented across relevant teams including Technical Specialists• Reviewing and monitoring the Corrective Action and Preventive Actions (CAPA) execution and reporting from factories and highlighting improvements as required• Implementing quality control protocols to each quality standard and coordinating action plans with Quality Managers and Technical Specialists
