ROLE PURPOSEAs a Trade & Event Executive, you will play a key role in conceptualizing, planning, and leading mall-wide campaigns, seasonal activations, decorations, and trade promotion activities. This position requires not only strong executional capability but also marketing acumen, with the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to drive footfall, strengthen tenant collaboration and to ensure all activities are carried out smoothly, on time, and in line with SC VivoCity’s brand standards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. Campaign/ Event Planning & Execution- Develop annual events calendar with activities and shoppers engagement in order boost mall footfall and increase sales performance of tenant in mall. - With shopper insights, competitor analysis, marketing trends, business objectives in mind, work with team to develop concept and plan for 05 key thematic campaigns (including mall decoration, promotion, activations for shoppers, tenant collaboration, POSM) of the mall, throughout the year in order to deliver business results.- Develop brief to external agencies for pitching process. Guide agencies from proposal stage through execution to ensure strong creative alignment, impactful delivery, and ROI.- Coordinate with creative and production agencies to conceptualize, design, and implement seasonal decorative setups and others. Ensure works meet branding guidelines, enhance customer experience, and are delivered within budget and timelines.- Oversee on-site operations and ensure smooth event execution in compliance with mall standards.2. Vendor/ Agency Management- Manage the full vendor lifecycle: from briefing, proposal evaluation, bidding, and contract negotiation to execution and closure.- Ensure agencies/vendors deliver campaigns in strict alignment with campaign objectives, signed contracts, budget and timeline.- Provide clear direction, monitor deliverables, and evaluate vendor performance during and post campaign.3. Project Management & Budget Management- Oversee the end-to-end execution of campaigns. Ensure strict compliance with internal SOPs, procurement process and local authority requirements.- Manage cross-functional coordination with Operations, Security, Technical, and Tenant teams to guarantee seamless execution. Troubleshoot on-ground issues in a timely and professional manner.- Prepare campaign budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure efficient cost control while maximizing campaign impact. Propose cost-saving measures without compromising creativity or quality.4. Trade Promotion Management- Plan and implement trade promotions and shopper engagement programs.- Prepare all required documentation for authority submission and ensure timely approval for promotional activities.- Evaluate promotion effectiveness and propose adjustments to maximize customer impact.5. Tenant Collaboration- Initiate and manage co-branded events and in-mall collaborations to strengthen tenant participation and customer engagement.- Liaise with tenants to collect promotion information and support in implementing in-store or co-branded marketing activities.- Strengthen tenant relationships by ensuring active participation in mall-wide campaigns, activations, and promotional tie-ins to support tenants’ sales objectives.6. Research & Reporting- Conduct competitor benchmarking and market research on malls’ trade and event activities, industry trends, and consumer insights and make relevant reports- Use findings to propose innovative activations, thematic concepts, and revenue-generating ideas that differentiate SC VivoCity from competitors.7. Other Tasks- Support other marketing initiatives or handle assignments as delegated by line manager.
