GENERAL MISSION:
Assist Chief Engineer to take charge of the daily operation, repair and maintenance of the Engineering Department.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND MEANS:
Trouble-shooting, operation, repair and maintenance of mechanical, electrical services and general building maintenance.
ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist Chief Engineer in Monthly reports according to company policy, all utilities consumption, staff weekly roster, medical or vacation leave, correspondence, purchase requests, store control and inventory, analyzing of complaints, log books and various checklists, handling of repair & job orders, hold regular meetings or briefings with staff.
TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Trouble shooting, operation, repair and maintenance of:
Mechanical service:
• Air-conditioning system and exhaust and ventilation system.
• Cold room.
• All the motor and pump.
• Cleaning equipment.
• Boiler.
• Generator.
• Car
• Lift, etc.
Electrical service:
• High voltage feeder and switchboard.
• Transformer
• Main circuit breaker
• Generator / emergency power.
• Main distributor board
• Lighting
• Power control for guestroom
• All the electrical wirer and wire way
• Life safety equipment.
Plumbing and Heating:
• Boiler
• Steam distribute
• Hot water generator
• Hot and cold water booster pump
• Hot and cold water system
• Storage tank
• Sanitary equipment
• Water filter
• Waste water treatment system
• Drainage system
• Swimming pool and equipments
Life and Safety:
• Fire fighting equipment
• Fire alarm system
• Sprinkle system
• Fire pump
• Smoke and heat detector
• Qualities control for swimming and usage water
Utilities supply:
• Cold and hot water
• Electricity
• Car
• Fuel oil
Laundry equipment:
• Washing machine
• Drying machine
• Iron machine
• Dry cleaning machine
• Form finishing machine, etc.
Kitchen equipment:
• Gas range
• Oven
• Warmer
• Cutter, etc.
General building maintenance:
• Masonry
• Carpentry
• Painting
• Wall
• Building structure
• All furniture, etc.
Electronic and communication:
• A/V equipment
• Telephone
• Satellite system and MATV
• Internet system, etc
Coordinate with officer:
• Electricity (MEA)
• Water (MWA)
• Telephone (TOT,CAT,TA), etc.
Commercial responsibilities:
• Control the other expenses
• Control the energy cost
Human responsibilities
• Organize, motivate, control and handling of staff as well as supplies and contractors, training staff.
Relation:
• Report to Chief Engineer.
• Coordinate and linking with various service companies, contractors, consultant, architect, and government, etc.
Replacement and temporary mission:
• Accept additional or temporary assignment as instructed by superior from time to time.

• Graduated from college or university with related majors
• Communicate English for work
• Experience in the hotel industry is an advantage
