- The DOSM works closely with the General Manager and Division Heads to determine appropriate sales strategies in all market segments towards maximizing the resort revenues. You is also responsible for maximizing occupancy of MICE and events in order to optimise business opportunities. You will work directly with other divisions to maximise awareness and guests using other resort facilities not limited to rooms, food and beverage outlets and the spa. The DOSM together with the subsidiaries creates lucrative sales targets and networks business relations to corporate and travel clients and will oversee and source key accounts. You have to observe the market, identity trends and monitor the main competitors.
- SALES RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create the overarching sales strategy for the resort for all revenue generating departments, rooms, F&B
- Develop and implement the sales plan for MICE, Coporate, TA, OTA, Banquet
- Prepare the sales budget and rooms revenue for the property
- Develop the sales strategy implement it with sales teams
- Participate in tradeshows, conventions and promotional events within the resort and trade related organizations as relevant to the resort
- Ensure effective relationship management of new and existing accounts
- Establish and maintain excellent relationships with counterparts at competitor resort sales & marketing teams that can provide referral business, including concierge teams
- MARKETING RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparation of the marketing, advertising, sales plans, programs and annual budget; maximises and manages the effective use of expenses within approved plans and budgets
- Direct and manage all group, transient, online and banquet sales activities to maximize revenue for the resort
- Develop rates, group sales deployment strategies through review of competitive data, demand analysis and mix management
- Strategies will include pricing, direct sales, market mix, marketing, and public relation
- and other responsibilities assigned by direct management
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
- Male/Femal, 30 – 45 years old
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or MBA.
- Must have 5 to 6 years experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area. And min 3+ years experience in a senior sales role.
- Fluency in English
- Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills
- High degree of commercial awareness and be able to understand links between sales and profit with excellent sales and negotiation skills.
- Good business sense and the ability to motivate and lead a team.
- Adaptable & flexible with the capacity to set high goals and standards for an integrated collaborative approach between departments
- Bottom-line oriented with emphasis on quality guest-service and team-building
