Cash Handling Duties:
- Handle daily cash collections, counting, reconciling, and depositing cash from all resort outlets in a secure and efficient manner.
- Ensure accurate recording of daily cash transactions and reconcile discrepancies if they arise.
- Maintain cash float and manage petty cash fund, issuing cash for approved petty cash requests and replenishing as needed.
- Prepare daily bank deposits and liaise with bank representatives for transactions.
- Conduct monthly cash counts and audits in coordination with the Finance Manager to maintain accurate cash flow records
- Process payroll on a timely basis, ensuring accurate calculation of employee wages, taxes, deductions, and benefits.
- Maintain payroll records, including timesheets, overtime, vacation, and other pay-related records.
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees, providing clear information and resolving any issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations regarding payroll, taxes, and reporting.
- Prepare payroll reports and assist in monthly and yearly payroll audits.
- Assist the Finance department in compiling financial reports, reconciliations, and month-end closing tasks.
- Maintain organized files for all cash and payroll records, ensuring easy access and compliance with audit requirements.
- Support other finance team members with duties as needed, including assistance in financial reporting and reconciliation tasks.
- Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and cash handling policies, upholding high standards of financial integrity and accuracy.
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
- Proven experience as a General Cashier, Paymaster, or in a similar role, ideally in a hotel or resort setting.
- Strong understanding of cash handling and payroll processing, with a basic knowledge of accounting principles.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in payroll software, Microsoft Excel, and accounting systems; experience with hotel-specific software is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks accurately.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to address employee payroll inquiries professionally.
