Assist Purchasing manager oversees the operation of purchasing department of the hotel. To liaise with supplier on timely delivery
Ensure 3 quotations are received for all purchases.
To sought for new suppliers and cheaper products when available.
To prepare weekly market prices comparison for all market list products.
To negotiate the best price for hotel
To ensure all purchased orders are approved by the authorised person before proceed order to supplier.
Prepares all necessary documents and input of prices to MC systems
Maintains filing system for product information and price comparison etc
To ensure comparison prices are correctly and timely updated into the MC system
To ensure long outstanding delivery Purchase Order are follow-up with supplier and to follow-up with supplier for immediate delivery.
To prepare record and list of operating equipments purchased and for future replacement.
Constantly review of market prices on daily market list and store items to ensure the supplier do not over charge the hotel.
Review products with Departments Heads and Director of Finance for alternative replacement products to reduce costs.
Review and approve Purchase order to ensure supplier, purchase products and pricing are accurate.
Monthly review of supplier performances of suppliers and prices of all general store, beverages store and dry stores item including hotel printing/stationary items.
Create 100% guest satisfaction by providing the Yes I Can! experience through performance that demonstrates the standards of genuine hospitality and exceeding guest expectations. Provide employees with the training and resources they need to maximize employee engagement and deliver Yes I Can! service and teamwork
Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility, and uses teamwork when providing guest service
Listens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution and follows through when resolving guest problems
Provides Yes I Can! genuine hospitality and teamwork on an ongoing basis
Assumes the responsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and uses their best judgment as to when it is appropriate to use the 100% Guest Satisfaction
Performs other duties required to provide the service brand behavior and genuine hospitality
Adheres to hotel policies and procedures
Keeps immediate Supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
Communicate effectively with guests, co-workers and the manager
Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position
Maintains a favourable working relationship with all other hotel employees to foster and promote a co-operative and harmonious working environment
At all times projects a favourable image of the Hotel to the public
Assist in the development of the Hotel business plan and ensure an overall understanding of its departmental goals and objectives
Attends work on time as scheduled
Follows safety and security rules and procedures
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
Two years experience at the same position in hotel purchasing department.
High school diploma required, bachelor’s degree in hospitality preferred
Basic communication English
Collaborate effectively with other hotel employees and managers to ensure teamwork
Able to resolve conflicts guests, supervisor and employee
Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
Basic computer skills in MS Office.
