PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:Be responsible for leading and overseeing the development, optimization, and improvement of complex manufacturing processes within the electronics manufacturing services (EMS) industry. Play a critical role in driving process excellence, innovation, and efficiency to meet customer requirements and organizational goals.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:1. New product introduction (NPI):- Design for Manufacturability (DFM) Review and provide feedback to customer, create process flow diagrams, define critical process parameters, select appropriate equipment, and establish efficient assembly methods. Create and maintain Bills of Materials, build instructions, conducting process trials, and addressing any issues or challenges that arise during the NPI build.2. Process Development and Optimization:- Lead the design, development, and optimization of complex manufacturing processes for electronic products, ensuring alignment with customer specifications and industry best practices.- Conduct advanced feasibility studies, process simulations, and risk assessments to identify opportunities for process improvement, cycle time reduction, and cost optimization.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, manufacturing personnel, and suppliers, to implement innovative process solutions and resolve technical challenges.3. Process Validation and Qualification:- Develop and execute comprehensive validation plans for new processes, process modifications, and technology transfers.- Apply advanced statistical techniques to analyze data, evaluate process capabilities, and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.- Provide guidance and mentorship to Level 1 and Level 2 engineers in process validation methodologies and best practices.4. Documentation, Standardization, and Training:- Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process flow diagrams.- Drive process standardization initiatives across multiple sites, product lines, and customer projects.- Provide training and mentorship to Level 1 and Level 2 engineers and production personnel on advanced process techniques, methodologies, and quality standards.5. Component evulation:- Participate in evaluating the raw material and new supplier/ vendor with SQE, review and propose to customer for alternative component.6. Equipment and Technology:- Evaluate and select cutting-edge equipment, tools, and technologies to support manufacturing processes, considering factors such as performance, scalability, and industry trends.- Collaborate with equipment vendors and suppliers to assess capabilities, conduct trials, and recommend strategic investments in new equipment or process improvements.- Lead the implementation, commissioning, and qualification of new equipment and technologies, ensuring seamless integration into existing processes.7. Data Analysis and Performance Monitoring:- Analyze complex process data using statistical methods, advanced analytics tools, and software to monitor process performance, detect trends, and drive data-driven decision-making.- Develop real-time process monitoring systems and implement statistical process control (SPC) methodologies to ensure process stability and capability.- Generate comprehensive reports and present findings to stakeholders and senior management.8. Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:- Investigate and resolve issues related to manufacturing processes, equipment failures, and product quality deviations. Work closely with production and maintenance teams to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and prevent future occurrences.9. Continuous Improvement and Innovation:- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.- Utilize advanced Lean Six Sigma methodologies, such as DMAIC and DMADV, to identify and eliminate process bottlenecks, reduce variability, and optimize process performance.- Foster a culture of innovation by researching and evaluating emerging technologies, materials, and processes to drive competitive advantage.10. Collaboration and Communication:- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, operators, technicians, and management, to ensure effective communication and alignment on process improvement initiatives. Share findings, recommendations, and progress updates with relevant stakeholders.11. Support Supervisor/ Manager to train for new staff and perform other related duties as designed by superior.

Location: Hai Phong or Ha TinhAn industrial engineer is responsible to lead the company initiative to move towards lean production environment. Acts as a central resource for lean manufacturing and assists with day-to-day production support and improvements. The person in this position is responsible for using Lean Manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:• Identify all the New Tooled End Items for the program including Multi-Party Agreements and directed tier 2 suppliers.• Represent and be supplier advocate in Cross-Functional Meetings• Develop program specific NTEI file containing pertinent part number information. Load and maintain program information in the eAPQP System (include late starters, design changes, VPP updates, etc)• Obtain site codes for each NTEI from Program Purchasing to initiate eAPQP Schedule A submission requests.• Lead Priority supplier selection using GPDS Priority filter, facilitate concurrence with PD (Product Development), Purchasing and Site STA (Supplier Technical Assistance) and notify suppliers • Lead Supplier Champion Process supplier selection using Supplier Champion filter, facilitate concurrence with PD (Product Development), Purchasing and Site STA (Supplier Technical Assistance). • Train suppliers and cross functional team members, as required, on the Supplier Engagement Process and the APQP/PPAP (Advanced Product Quality Planning/Production Part Approval Process) Readiness Assessment.• Manage and track on-time completion of GPDS priority supplier team evaluations.• Tracking PPAP and Schedule A (External Supplier APQP/PPAP Readiness Assessment) status and submission requirements to the Site STA Organization and Supply Base.• Prepare standard documents for all Milestone Reviews, Special Attention Reviews (SAR) and OESAR / NML Assessment)• Drive resolution of all YELLOW/RED deliverables with cross functional team members.• Participate in PAT (Program Activity Team), PST (Program Steering Team) and PMT (Program Module Team) change control meetings. Collaborate with CPMT (Component Program Module Team) leaders and Purchasing Program managers to understand program related changes impacting launch. • Support NMP Part Pedigree meetings and develop Parts Pedigree Risk and Industrialization Readiness Assessment prior to each build for review with STA leadership• Aggressively manage and review Phased PPAP status and timing plans to deliver on time Phase PPAP approvals• Arrange cross functional meetings to drive PPAP issues resolution and manage action plans to assure on time PSW approvals• Proactively monitor, manage and escalate significant issues inhibiting Supplier PPAP/launch risks• Drive on-time PPAP completion through OTG (Open-to-Go) meetings, PPAP timing alignment with eAPQP and communicate PSW status and delinquencies to Site STA and Program Team.• Provide onsite STA Launch support for Build events (e.g. DCV (Design Completion Verification) builds, PCF / TCB (Part Coordinate Fixture/Trim Coordination Build), etc.)• Drive resolution of supplier quality issues raised through AIMS (Automated Issues Management System). Lead containment, 8D follow up, ICA / PCA activity. In case of AIMS related to carry over parts engage Incoming Quality, Site or Resident STA engineers as necessary.• Support Start up Meetings / FCPA (Ford Consumer Product Audit), VOCF (Voice of Customer Fleet), Campaign Prevention/Fresh Eyes, Craftsmanship, R202, DEMS, Hard Rocks, Shortage meetings, White Board reviews.

Purchasing Management- Receive and process spare part requisitions from Maintenance and Production departments.- Identify reliable suppliers and request quotations to ensure competitive prices, quality, and delivery.- Prepare purchase orders and follow up on order status, shipment, and delivery schedule.- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse and maintenance teams to prevent shortages.2. Supplier Management- Maintain and update supplier database.- Evaluate supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, and delivery.- Negotiate with suppliers for cost savings and favorable payment terms.- Develop alternative sources to reduce procurement risk.3. Cost Control & Compliance- Ensure all purchases comply with company policies and procedures.- Support cost analysis, budgeting, and reporting of spare-part procurement activities.- Maintain accurate records and documents for audits and internal control.4. • Xây dựng hướng dẫn công việc cho các thiết bị tiện ích và đào tạo người vận hành bảo trì trình độ sơ cấp.• Chủ trì lập kế hoạch và thực hiện dự án đại tu hoặc xây dựng mới hệ thống, thiết bị cho cơ sở vật chất, tiện ích và công trình xây dựng….• Quản lý các thiết bị của cơ sở như hệ thống FFFT, AC, chiller, Gas, xử lý nước thải, máy nén khí và các thiết bị khác…..• Nghiên cứu hướng dẫn sử dụng và các yêu cầu của pháp luật, lập kế hoạch lịch trình bảo trì & kiểm tra hàng năm cho toàn bộ cơ sở.• Chỉ đạo các hoạt động lập kế hoạch và thực hiện để bảo trì khắc phục phòng ngừa các thiết bị tiện ích.• Thiết lập các hệ thống và quy trình bảo trì cơ sở vật chất để đảm bảo tối đa hóa việc sử dụng cơ sở vật chất.• Đảm bảo cung cấp các nguồn năng lượng như ga, điện, nước, giám sát việc tiêu thụ.• Kiểm tra hàng ngày tất cả các tiện ích / cơ sở vật chất, giữ cho chúng hoạt động trong tình trạng tốt.• Phối hợp chặt chẽ với người giám sát ca, trưởng dây chuyền và các thành viên khác trong nhóm bảo trì.• Cập nhật bản vẽ bố trí nhà máy, sơ đồ điện.• Thực hiện các nhiệm vụ hợp lý & hợp lệ khác do Quản lý giao cho.• Tuân thủ các quy định của công ty, và các quy định về Phòng cháy chữa cháy, an toàn vệ sinh lao động.
