Responsibilities:• Devise procedures to inspect and report quality issues.• Monitor daily inspection operations that affect product quality.• Supervise and guide inspectors, technicians and other staff.• Assure the reliability and consistency of production by checking processes and final output.• Appraise customers’ requirements and make sure they are satisfied.• Report all malfunctions to production executives to ensure immediate actions.• Facilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing quality data.• Review current quality standards and policies.• Keep records of quality reports, statistical reviews and relevant documentation.• Communicate with external quality auditors during on-site inspections.

An industrial engineer is responsible to lead the company initiative to move towards lean production environment. Acts as a central resource for lean manufacturing and assists with day-to-day production support and improvements. The person in this position is responsible for using Lean Manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence. This role is involved in planning, scheduling, and implementing continuous improvement activities (such as Kaizen) on the production floor of a manufacturing facility.Position Responsibilities:• Designs, redesigns, or enhances work areas and layouts so that awkward or uncomfortable positions, repetitive motions, and inefficient operations are reduced or eliminated.• Maintains knowledge of best practices in manufacturing methods, and trends and developments in technology and equipment; applies this knowledge to maintain the organizations competitive edge.• Identifies and assesses various problems and departures from established manufacturing standards and best practices; researches and recommends solutions.• Develops and maintains management information, planning, and control systems.• Implements methods and modifications to reduce production costs.• Develop/perform the automation project for optimization activities.• Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities• Develop process/ system/ procedure to manage work quality/ reliability for instrument system/equipment.• Actively involved with the instrument reliability processes - RCA, RCM, PM, QA/QC and equipment care to ensure support of Refinery productivity.• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for instrument equipment/ system failure investigations, as well as closely work with Maintenance execution team to eliminate the failures.• Initiate instrument engineering corrective actions/ upgrade solutions through the necessary MOC/MTC channels and support through the different process steps to implementation.• Review Threat to availability (MTA) - Score, prioritize, facilitate, track, assess, close out for instrument equipment/ system.• Involve in setting up preventative maintenance (PM) programs and strategies for instrument equipment/ system. Carry out necessary audits to verify compliance. Optimize PM's based on historical data findings.• Identify Refinery Bad Actors, conduct investigations and involve in development of solutions to address bad actors.• Set up, review and update technical standards relating to check lists, check sheets, ITP, QCR and procedures.• Initiate long term repair/ replacement strategies in order to manage asset life and obsolescence and to fit with the Refinery TA plan for instrument equipment.• Identify and implement improvements for instrumentation and control system.• Actively contribute and deliver reliability initiatives.• Compile and report monthly the relevant Instrument engineering/ Reliability KPI's.• Define the min/max stock level for spare parts and confirm specifications.• Support and advise on the instrument equipment criticality for new and existing machine reviews.• Support Instrument and Analyzer Section in implementation of PM program for instrument equipment.• Provide technical support during complicated/ repeated repair for instrument equipment.• Perform inspection/ check/ audit for key/ critical instrument equipment/ system during repair.• Work with multiple disciplines, OEM's and review historical data to establish scopes for the required instrument equipment for TA and other relevant projects.• To define the schedules, plans and resources required to support such TA's. POSITION SUMMARY• Follow new styles through the development process from concept to PPM, getting styles fit approved in the agreed timeline and to the correct standard by adopting a right first time work ethic. Interpreting customer comments from design intent into actual. OVERVIEW: Receive and process KPIs regarding the progress of station setup.
