The ADAS ECU Component Owner is responsible for the end-to-end lifecyclemanagement of Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) ECUs within an OEM environment.This role will involve coordinating between internal teams, suppliers, andpartners to ensure the successful development, integration, and validation ofADAS ECU components in vehicles. The component owner ensures that all ADASsystems are designed, developed, and delivered on time, within budget, and meetthe required safety, performance, and regulatory standards.Key Responsibilities:- Own the development, integration, and maintenance of ADAS ECU componentsthroughout their lifecycle.- Define the functional and non-functional requirements for ADAS ECUcomponents in collaboration with internal stakeholders and suppliers.- Oversee the design, validation, and release of ADAS ECU components,ensuring alignment with vehicle system architecture.- Act as the primary point of contact between hardware, software, andsystem engineering teams.- Work closely with testing and validation teams to ensure that componentsmeet performance and safety standards.- Engage and manage relationships with suppliers for ADAS ECU componentsand associated software.- Ensure suppliers meet quality, cost, and timeline targets, and driveresolution of any supplier-related issues.- Perform regular audits and evaluations of supplier performance.- Lead issue resolution efforts, ensuring that issues are tracked,resolved, and communicated effectively across teams.- Own and manage the project plans for ADAS ECU development, ensuring thatall milestones and deadlines are met.- Report progress, risks, and key issues to senior leadership andstakeholders.- Ensure all ADAS ECU components comply with industry standards, safetyregulations, and relevant certifications (e.g., ISO 26262, automotive safetystandards).
