KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Summary –
The Director of Rooms is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Rooms Division in a hotel, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Security, Recreation, Spa. This leadership role ensures that the hotel provides a high level of customer service, operational efficiency, and profitability while maintaining brand standards.
- Guest Check-In & Check-Out: Assist guests with the check-in and check-out process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
- Guest Assistance: Greet guests upon arrival, assist with luggage, provide information about resort amenities, activities, and local attractions.
- Guest Services: Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and courteous manner, escalating issues to senior staff as necessary.
- Front Desk Operations: Learn and assist with daily front desk operations, including managing the resort's property management system (PMS), processing payments, and maintaining guest records.
- Communication: Assist in communicating guest preferences or special requests to relevant departments, ensuring a personalized experience.
- Administrative Support: Perform administrative tasks, including filing, organizing guest paperwork, and maintaining a clean and organized reception area.
- Problem Resolution: Observe and learn how to effectively resolve guest complaints and concerns, ensuring guest satisfaction and loyalty.
- Training and Development: Participate in training sessions to learn resort policies, guest service standards, and the use of resort software.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as housekeeping, maintenance, and concierge to ensure seamless service for guests.
- Guest Feedback: Assist with gathering guest feedback and contribute to the process of improving resort services and operations.
