We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Architect Documentation Leader to join our team and lead our documenting department with a focus on Revit.Responsibilities:Leadership and Management:• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of drafters and designers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure the timely completion of drafting projects.• Conduct regular team meetings to discuss project updates, challenges, and solutions.Technical Expertise:• Oversee the creation of detailed architectural drawings, models, and documentation using Revit.• Develop and implement Revit standards, templates, and libraries to ensure consistency and efficiency across all projects.• Provide technical guidance and support to team members, troubleshooting complex Revit issues and ensuring best practices are followed.Project Coordination:• Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and comprehensive project documentation.• Participate in design meetings, offering insights and suggestions to enhance project outcomes.• Coordinate with external consultants and contractors to integrate their work into the overall project design.Quality Control:• Conduct thorough quality control reviews of drawings and models to ensure they meet project requirements, industry standards, and regulatory codes.• Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to minimize errors and rework.Innovation and Development:• Stay abreast of the latest developments in Revit and other architectural design software, incorporating new features and techniques into the drafting process.• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to seek out and adopt innovative solutions.Training and Development:• Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the drafting team.• Support the professional growth of team members through regular feedback, performance evaluations, and career development planning.
