1. Greets and acknowledges guests while smiling and making eye contact.
2. Recognizes repeat guests while smiling and making eye contact.
3. Addresses guests by name while smiling and making eye contact.
4. Builds a friendly relationship with guests while walking them to their table.
5. Pulls out chairs and/or tables before guests are seated.
6. Accommodates guests needs, i.e. wheel chair, restrooms, movement of drinks from one location to another, etc.
7. Acts as a liaison between management and service staff
8. Communicates guest complaints and compliments to management.
9. Communicates guests needs to service staff/management, i.e. celebrating anniversary, birthday or any special requests etc.
10. Invites and welcomes guests back upon completion of their visit.
11. Alerts the kitchen of business flow, i.e. how many guests will soon be ordering, how many guests are having desesrt, how many guests are waiting to be seated, etc.
12. Walks the floor and provides floor updates to management, i.e. how many open tables, open menus, etc.
13. Ensures that guest seating is rotated between all service stations.
14. Answers telephone, takes new reservations and maintains current reservations within procedural guidelines.
15. Must be knowledgeable about the company you work for, i.e. locations, cuisine, etc.
16. Must be knowledgeable about surroundings, i.e. nearby entertainment, theaters, etc.
17. Performs all duties in adherence to all company standards.
18. Must have the ability to provide friendly, courteous and professional service to all internal and external customers/guests, at all times.
