Job Objective:- To lead and drive the Business Development department by focusing on acquiring new sales from multinational corporations (MNCs) and large local enterprises. This includes the organization, development, and expansion of BD teams, innovative solutions, and new market offerings, in alignment with the company’s strategic objectives. The primary goal is to establish strong partnerships, expand the customer base, and ensure long-term growth through proactive sales strategies and targeted business development efforts.Main tasks1. Propose business strategy and model | 5%• Survey market information, competitors, and the industry.• Propose business strategy and model.• Make decisions on how to approach customers (target audience, method of approach, etc.).• Develop a departmental execution plan (annually, quarterly, etc.), including revenue, personnel, key activities, and sales costs.2. Build and implement a sales plan | 40%• Research market trends and opportunities.• Develop a sales plan based on the department's annual plan, assign targets to subordinates.• Approach customers, introduce and offer services.• Set objectives, goals, and KPIs for each service segment.• Develop potential customer sources.• Approach new customers and sell services.• Expand services to existing customers.3. Coordinate with TEBS & Other BUs to prepare for biddings | 20%• Respond to tenders, coordinate with other BUs, TEBS to offer quotation/ finalize solutions to customers. • Together with TEBS/ Other BUs to monitor the project implementation process for customer after receiving award letters/ contracts.• Regularly update market trends and customer requirements in information technology to propose appropriate solution development.4. Customer care and support | 10%• Define customer care policies and service levels according to customer segments and priority customers.• Support in resolving customer complaints, coordinate effectively with the operation department to ensure excellent service.• Provide suggestions to enhance service quality.5. Support in providing market information | 10%• Support in providing departments with insights from customers and the market through interactions and communications with customers.• Build strategic partnerships (infrastructure partners, technology partners, other resource partners) to meet business objectives.6. Evaluate project feasibility | 5%• Propose the feasibility of projects (customer sources, operational model, market benchmark, etc.).• Search for customers for the project.• Monitor project progress to make appropriate customer plans.7. Internal process | 5%• Develop internal work processes for the department.• Monitor and evaluate performance based on KPIs.8. Employee management and development | 5%• Recruit and select personnel.• Manage personnel utilization (develop competency and skill development plans).• Develop orientation programs for both new and existing employees.• Guide/ train/ evaluate the performance of BD Managers, BD team members.
