PR / Communications
Developing PR Strategy: Create and execute a comprehensive PR strategy aligned with the resort's goals and target audience, focusing on enhancing the brand image and promoting the resort's unique offerings.
Media Relations: Build and maintain relationships with local, national, and international media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure positive coverage and press opportunities. Manage and monitor PR agencies. Liaise with IHG Corporate PR and Sun Group PR & Marketing departmentas needed.
Press Releases/Media Kits/Collateral: Prepare and distribute press releases and media kits showcasing the resort's latest developments, events, and exclusive amenities to attract media attention.
Crisis Management: Participate in crisis communication plan and protocol development to handle potential negative incidents or situations that could impact the resort's reputation, ensuring a swift and effective response.
Event Planning and Coordination: Organize and promote special events at the resort, such as openings, launches and press conferences, to generate media coverage and social buzz.
Brand Partnerships and Collaborations: Identify and initiate partnerships and collaborations with luxury brands, celebrities, and influencers to boost the resort's visibility and reach.
Community Engagement: Develop and implement initiatives to engage with the local community and demonstrate the resort's commitment to corporate social responsibility and philanthropy.
