Engineers display a solid understanding of core engineering concepts. They are focused on growing as an engineer, learning the team’s tools and current processes, as well as a strong background in Engineering best-practices like automated testing, source control, and agile planning. They communicate well and are capable of delivering feedback to peers and their manager. When given a task with unclear requirements they know how to ask for clarification, and ensure that all assumptions are vetted before work starts to reduce the need for re-work. They understand how their work fits into the larger picture for their team, and use this to identify conflicting requirements to their team lead and project manager. Senior Frontend Engineer also works with the FE team to share best practices and provide support/guidance to junior members. RESPONSIBILITIES  Day to Day Work on projects with high complexity, large or strategic projects. Writing and reviewing code from the sprint backlog inline with front-end team best practices. Assisting in driving team sprint execution to ensure timelines are met without compromising on quality. Anticipates and communicates blockers or delays for their work (or their squads) before they require escalation.  Technical Duties Consistently writes production-ready code that is easily testable, easily understood by other engineers, and accounts for edge cases and errors.  Provides technical advice and weighs in on technical discussions / decisions that impact their team. Testing and Quality Assurance: Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of product requirements. Perform functional, integration, regression, and system testing for both frontend and backend systems. Create and maintain detailed reports on testing progress, defects, and outcomes. Position Summary:  Design, maintain automation framework and develop automation’s test cases using Behave Python.  Analyse to create test cases according to the specifications.  Develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure the product meets the Business requirements and quality standards.  Responsibilities:   Complete assigned tasks from your direct superior(s) on time.  Determine test objectives through detailed analysis in order to automate features comprehensively.  Develop, plan and implement automated test cases based on software requirements and technical understanding.  Develop and extend the current test automation infrastructure to be more efficient, both in execution and in reporting.  Run tests (including manual test or automation test or both) against UAT builds/releases during the development lifecycle.  Compose test cases and perform manual testing for features upon requests.  Prepare test data and test environment for testing.  Take responsibility for certifying the quality of the product.  Create bug reports in Bug Tracking system and follow bug life cycle.  Report testing status and test results (daily or/and weekly) to superior(s) (Project Leader or Direct Manager) accurately and promptly.  Support, mentor or coach members when needed.
