• Financial Reporting: Prepare, review and ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) or IFRS.• General Ledger Management: Oversee journal entries, reconciliations, and ensure the integrity of the general ledger.• Tax Compliance: Prepare, review and file VAT, Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Personal Income Tax (PIT), and Foreign Contractor Tax (FCT) returns.• Payroll Processing: Review HR's monthly payroll process, ensuring compliance with social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance contributions.• Internal Controls & Audits: Implement internal controls, coordinate with auditors, and ensure adherence to financial regulations.• Internal Liaison: Communicate with manager to understand group financial needs and able to provide advisory on VN entity's requirement and compliance matters.• Team Supervision: Manage junior accountants, providing guidance and ensuring timely completion of financial operations tasks. Mentor and lead junior accountants, establish clear performance metrics, and create a culture of accountability and learning.• Full-Spectrum Accounting Oversight: Independently manage end-to-end accounting operations including GL, AP/AR, asset management, and monthly/year-end closing.• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (HR, operations, procurement) to drive business performance and financial discipline.• Business Partnering & Value Creation: Act as a proactive business partner—not just a reporter— bringing forward financial insights, cost-saving initiatives, and risk mitigation strategies.
