1. Collect and sign for section keys. Ensure complete information is on hand before starting the day’s work including some important information such as allocated VIPs and group rooms.
2. Clean and provide services to all rooms including supply the refrigerator:

a) Ensure proper procedures in cleaning, servicing, turning down beds are strictly followed
b) Prepare the beds in accordance with the correct procedures
c) Clean rest room and toilet in correct way
d) Replenish all guest amenities and stationeries consumed by guest and put them on the assigned place.
e) Dust all furniture and make sure all the fixed and corners are free from dust.
f) Clean floor every day to keep them clean.
g) Glasses in refrigerator must be clean, spotless and free from dust.
h) Hang properly the guest clothes.
i) Water potted plant when necessary.
j) Maintain or replace the flower when necessary.
k) Set proper temperature in rooms as instructed.
l) Remove stale /rotten fruits in the rooms.
m) Immediately report to the Floor Team Leader any missing or damaged furniture, fixture and equipment.
n) Carry out spring cleaning program assigned by the Floor Team Leader, especially during low season.
o) Clean windows according to the procedures.
p) Polish marble flooring, cleaning corridor floors, and dust the surface of wooden and metal products.
q) Maintain cleanliness of lift lobbies (guest elevator landing area), and standing ash ums frequently.
r) Empty bottles and transfer the waste to assigned disposal area.
4. All room trolleys and trays left in the rooms or corridor are to be removed to the staff lift lobby immediately, for collection by room service staff. Instruct Housekeeping Coordinator to inform other room service staff for collection as soon as noticed.
5. Forward all lost and found items to the Floor Team Leader. All items found in the rooms must be reported immediately to the Coordinator:
a) Report to supervisor and Housekeeping Coordinator immediately once any valuable items were found.
b) Fill all information in the Lost and Found report.
c) Valuable items should be handed over to Housekeeping Office immediately and normal items can be handed over before lunch or the end the shift duty.
6. Check and report the items in mini-bar:
a) Check the daily consumption of guest
b) Report the guest consumption to Housekeeping Coordinator according to approved procedures
c) All consumed items in rooms must be replenished when room attendants are carrying out the cleaning.
d) Call Laundry Room to collect and reture guest laundry as Regent policy
e) Ensure laundry cleaning list has been completed by guest before calling AYS for collection.
f) Hang guest laundry in the closet properly and put necessary forms on dresser table to inform resident of the delivery.
g) Ensure used laundry list and laundry bags are replenished.
7. Prepare room attendant report:
Ensure rooms are checked properly and that discrepancies are properly marked down in the report. Inform the Floor Supervisor.
8. Carry out turn down service according to approved procedure.
9. Take rooms status check and fill in the room report:
a) Help maintain security by reporting any suspicious looking characters on the floor.
b) Check and stack clean linen received from linen room to pantry. Damaged and stained linen must be returned to linen room. Inform the Floor Supervisor.
10. Report repair and maintenance required in the guest room immediately to the Coordinator to ensure that everything in the room is functioning according to the standards set by the rooms. Inform the Floor Supervisor immediately.
11. Keep linen room, supply racks and service area clean, orderly, tidy and sanitary.
Service toilet to be kept clean, sanitary and free from foul/ bad odour at all times.
12. Prepare report/ hand-over and submit together with key to the Floor Team Leader before going off duty.
13. Room attendant will do the following public area cleaning on the floors:
a) Moping corridor floor.
b) Dust and wipe oval table and art work.
c) Dust and wipe consul table, two table lamp shades, and remove and dust smudges on the mirror.
d) Dusting of all picture frame/ art works on the wall.
e) Be aware of Floor emergency, safety and pest control procedures. Maintain personal grooming as per Hotel and Floor standard to project and efficient, professional, neat and tidy appearance to guest and set an example to colleagues.
