• Set up and install equipment such as microphones, sound speakers, video screens, projectors, video monitors, recording equipment, connecting wires and cables, sound and mixing boards for events and functions such as events, meetings, presentations, and conferences.
• Set up, operate sound equipment and spotlights
• Confer with meeting or banquet manager to establish cues and directions
• Monitor sound feeds to ensure quality
• Test and resolve equipment issues, diagnose and correct media system problems
• Develop and implement procedures to govern the Engineering Supervisor duties, observe to it that all operational equipment are running well base on standard and star on duty are assigned to make the hotel operations smooth and effective.• Check all Engineering equipment in every duty such as heater, generator, A/C system, compressors, lifts, fire system etc.; check all supporting equipment as fuel level, grease trap, etc.
• Check all functions in service areas, assign star to prepare, standby, follow up additional request and clear up all engineering equipment related to the functions needed.
• Assign star to replace/repair all out of order equipment in guest rooms/ public areas as requested by the hotel’s Operator.
• Inspect hotel’s premises including engineering areas, back office, stores, public areas, at least once during every shift.
• Monitor work process performed by outsourcing contractors within hotel surroundings regarding to rate of progress, safety procedures, quality of work,
• Delegate job task to stars on duty base on priority of request. Depend on real situation, arrange star to work overtime in order to smooth the operation or overcome the emergency cases.
• Manage the consumption of electricity, water, gas by controlling operation hours of electronic equipment as A/C, chillers, ventilation, heater and solve of any accidental issues such leakage or damage
• Follow up sudden function or request of equipment in order to meet guest satisfaction
• State in detail all activities during shift on logbook and reports to handover to the next shift.
• To be ready and responsible to perform any other duties as designated or required by Management from time to time
