Purpose of position:As a Sales Manager at Melchers Vietnam, your primary responsibility is to independently lead and manage sales activities within the Energy Sector (Oil and Gas), working closely with manufacturing companies, the headquarter team, and partners. You will be responsible for driving sales, completing orders, and ensuring customer satisfaction within your assigned sector.Key Responsibilities1. Sales Strategy and Planning:- Serve as company point of contact for the assigned products towards customer and regional office.- Learn and understand assigned products.- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans tailored to your Energy Sector, aligned with company objectives.- Analyze market trends, customer demands, and competitors within the sector to identify new business opportunities.- Set sales targets and define key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor individual performance.- Conduct sales visits to customers, understand requirements and give recommendations for equipment- Communications with product management in Germany.2. Business Development:- Identify potential clients and establish productive relationships with key decision-makers within your sector.- Understand customer needs and propose suitable solutions from the range of products offered by Melchers and its manufacturing partners.- Conduct negotiations and close sales deals independently to meet or exceed sales targets.3. Order Completion and Coordination:- Collaborate with the headquarter team and partners to ensure smooth order processing and timely delivery to customers.- Create and issue quotations, according to customer requirements.- Communicate effectively with internal teams, including logistics, operations, and customer service to ensure efficient order fulfillment.- Coordinate with manufacturing companies and partners to resolve any issues related to product availability, quality, or delivery.4. Customer Relationship Management:- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers within your sector.- Act as the main point of contact for customer inquiries, concerns, and order updates.- Provide exceptional customer service and promptly address any issues or escalations.5. Sales Reporting and Analysis:- Use CRM to log all required work activity and keep record of order status.- Prepare regular sales reports, order status updates, and analysis for management review.- Monitor sales activities, order pipelines, and conversion rates to identify areas for improvement.- Make data-driven recommendations to optimize sales processes and strategies within your sector.
