SUPPORT CHANGE’S BRAND, MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS PLAN 50%
• Coordinate with MarCom Director & others Directors, Managers to establish the Marketing/Communication strategies for CHANGE campaigns.
• Contribute to the development of the annual brand, marketing and communications plan.
• Coordinate flow of information and communication and disseminate it according to plan/strategy.
• Identify, develop and execute communications strategy for key media contacts and customer references.
• Develop fresh story ideas.
MANAGE CHANGE’S DIGITAL MARKETING AND SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS 20%
• Oversee the maintenance and updating of CHANGE’s digital marketing platforms and social media accounts, including but not limited to:
o CHANGE’s website and CMS
o Campaign Monitor (email marketing platform)
o Surveys (form and survey platform)
o Google Analytics
o Google AdWords
o Facebook
o Twitter
o Google+
o Instagram
o Linked In
o YouTube
•Provide digital/social media advice and support in relation to marketing and 10% communications goals and plans.
• Research, create, deliver, edit, and optimize marketing materials to ensure that messages are supportive of and consistent with marketing strategies.
• Research media coverage and industry trends.
• Develop content (images, graphics, video, content etc.) for use on digital/ social media channels to support business goals.
• Supervise social media outreach (Deliver content via Facebook, Twitter, email, or direct mail.
• Manage and schedule all digital/ social media updates within an annual content planner.
• Actively update digital/ social media channels with interesting, relevant and
meaningful content on a regular basis to ensure community growth and engagement.
• Create new digital/ social media initiatives, competitions and campaigns to support goals.
• Make sure that CHANGE is appropriately presented to all stakeholders – partners, public, volunteer, and media. Budget and expense management
• Work with MarCom Director, Development Director and Operations Director to determine event budget and manage expenses to that budget.
• Assist in the management of all administrative accounts and budgets associated with social media platforms.
Maintain and committed partnerships 20%
• Press relations with national media; Make contacts with and build a list of higher-ranking journalists to support the campaign (a good mix of environment, lifestyle, business journalists)
• Communicate with local government agencies for possible partnership and support.
• Connect with strategic social influencers to strengthen brand awareness and understanding and support specific business goals.
