Job Summary:The GNSS & Positioning Engineer will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and validation of the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) and positioning functions within an Android Automotive environment. This role requires a deep understanding of GNSS technologies, Android Automotive frameworks, and automotive validation processes, with a focus on Google compliance and xTS certification.Responsibilities:Develop and maintain the GNSS Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) within an Android Automotive solution.Create and maintain abstraction layers between different electrical architectures to support multiple projects.Ensure the solution complies with Google’s Android Automotive requirements and proactively track upcoming changes.Integrate and maintain various Dead Reckoning (DR) module solutions for different projects.Lead and/or participate in in-car testing of positioning functions, analyze results, and implement appropriate fixes.Develop and maintain the overall system architecture, considering evolving electrical architectures.Analyze reported bugs, identify root causes, and implement effective countermeasures.Ensure all implementations align with Google Automotive requirements and successfully pass xTS certification testing.
