- Sells to new, existing and prospective customers considering goals set forth in the sales strategy, negotiating optimum rate for the benefit ofthe business

The Business Development Manager is responsible for developing business for the company’s global portfolio, including Hospitality and Cruises, with a strong focus on increasing revenue and managing client accounts for our properties. This role emphasizes identifying new business opportunities through proactive outreach, such as cold calling, networking, and developing leads from various channels. A hunger for sales and growth, combined with a determined mindset, is crucial to expanding the client base and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate is comfortable and confident in initiating cold calls, scheduling meetings, and maintaining continuous follow-up with potential clients to convert them into long-term partnerships.
Prospecting and Lead Generation:
• Proactively search for potential customers through various channels to build a comprehensive database of leads.
• Actively cold call and engage potential clients to introduce the company’s services and solutions, aiming to generate interest and set up meetings.
Customer Outreach and Engagement:
• Contact potential customers from the self-generated list or the company’s database to introduce services and promotional programs.
• Send service information via email or tele-sales to prospective customers and respond to any queries or feedback.
• Use strong negotiation and persuasion skills to convert prospects into clients by promoting the value of the hotel’s services.
Sales Cycle Management:
• Take full ownership of the entire sales cycle, from initial contact, networking, and relationship building through to closing deals.
• Develop and nurture strong relationships with new and existing clients to secure long-term partnerships.
Internal Collaboration and Program Development:
• Collaborate with the hotel’s marketing department to plan and execute promotional programs, customer appreciation events, and introduce new services.
Reporting and Communication:
• Prepare regular work reports and participate in departmental meetings to provide customer feedback and suggest effective solutions.
• Participate in team discussions and contribute to the development of sales strategies and initiatives.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by the manager to support the overall business objectives.
